Privacy & your data
Winterton Hound Ground is run as a small, family-scale dog field on the Norfolk coast. We collect only the data we need to honour bookings and process refunds.
What we collect
- The email address you give Stripe at checkout (so we can send your confirmation and reminder).
- The slots you booked, the number of dogs, and the time you confirmed.
- A Stripe-managed payment record (we don't store card numbers ourselves; Stripe does).
- An anonymous audit-log entry of bookings, refunds, and email outcomes.
What we don't collect
- Card numbers, expiry dates, CVCs.
- Marketing profiles or third-party tracking by default.
- Anything beyond the email Stripe collects for the receipt.
How we use it
- To confirm your booking and email you the gate code.
- To send a single reminder roughly an hour before your slot (you can turn this off from your booking page).
- To process refunds when you cancel at least 48 hours ahead.
- To answer questions if you contact us.
Cookies
The site uses one cookie called sessionId to remember your slot lock while you're on the booking page. It expires when you close the browser. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to delete every booking, payment record we hold locally, and audit-log entry attached to your email address. Use the form below; we'll email you a confirmation link to make sure it's really you.
Note: Stripe keeps a record of payments for tax and accounting purposes; that record is not affected by the local deletion and is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
Request data deletion
Pop in the email address you used to book and we'll send you a confirmation link valid for 30 minutes.
