Common questions

Can I bring more than one dog?

Yes, up to 6 dogs from the same household. Bring as many as you can walk in safely.

What if it's raining?

The field is open in any weather. The Hooman Hut gives you a dry place to wait it out, and we keep towels on site.

Is the field really secure?

1.8 metre fencing around the full perimeter, with skirting and mature hedge windbreaks. The gate is coded, only you can enter during your slot. No other dogs, no surprises.

What if I'm late?

Your slot starts at the booked time and ends 30 minutes later. We can't extend if the next visitor's already waiting at the gate.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Yes, cancel from the link in your booking email at least 48 hours before your slot for a full automatic refund.

Are there waste bins?

Yes, by the gate. Please bag your dog's mess and pop it in, it keeps the field nice for everyone.

Are children allowed?

Absolutely. The field is a great place for kids to spend time with their dogs in a safe space. Adults supervise as always.

Are there toilets on-site?

Yes, there's a toilet in the car-park area (for humans only). It's open during your slot.

Can I book with friends and bring multiple cars?

Yes, up to 6 dogs in one slot. The car park fits three vehicles, so for larger groups please get in touch first so we can arrange parking.

My dog is an XL Bully (or another DDA-listed breed). Can we come?

Yes, as long as the dog is registered on the Index of Exempted Dogs (IED), neutered, microchipped, and you hold valid public liability insurance. The dog must be muzzled and on a lead until the gate is shut, then again before leaving. See the full conditions in our Terms.

I run a dog-walking business. Can I bring clients' dogs?

Yes, with your client's consent. Same booking flow, same per-slot pricing. Drop us a message if you want to discuss regular bookings.

Does the gate code change?

Yes, typically twice a day (mornings vs afternoons). Your booking page always shows the code that applies to your slot, even if we change it after you've booked.

Can I have different numbers of dogs across the slots in one booking?

One booking applies one dog count across all the slots in it. If you need different counts on different days, just make a separate booking for each. You can change the dog count later from your booking page (we'll charge the difference only if you cross the 1-3 / 4-6 tier).

Is the field wheelchair accessible?

There's a ramp at the entrance gate. The ground is manoeuvrable in dry conditions; a wet field is harder going, an extra pair of hands helps.
